HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?
Carrie's Dream Dance Scholarship Fund is always looking for more community. Whether that is in the form of performers, audience members, fiscal sponsors, donors, or volunteers, we would love to have you involved. Find out all of the ways you can join us below!

PERFORM
Carrie's Dream is focused on community, the more people we can get involved, the more we feel like we are honoring Carrie Dianda Mccoid. Do you have a studio, dance company, performance group that would like to perform? Please email us at info@carriesdream.org to get involved! If you are a local dance studio and have one or more dancers performing under the age of 18, you become eligible to receive the very scholarships we are trying to offer to youth in Santa Cruz County. Please reach out to us if you have any questions.

DONATE MONEY
The average monthly cost of one dance class a week is about $75. If you contribute just that, you are offering a child the opportunity to discover their passion for dance. Santa Cruz County has so many wonderful studios with so much to offer to youth. Kids are learning how to express themselves, connecting with other students their age as well as adults, time management skills , learning how to be more in their bodies. You could give this opportunity to a child that might not be able to otherwise have the chance based on their finances. Every penny of what you donate goes directly back to the kids.

SPONSOR
Becoming a sponsor for Carrie's Dream is such a gift for the dancers we are raising scholarships for. That money goes directly towards student's tuition to the studio of their choice ( a studio that has performed the previous year at the annual scholarship showcase). Not only are you providing tuition for dancers for potentially the entire season, but we will also advertise for YOU. Check out our sponsorship levels and their perks here.

DONATE AUCTION ITEMS
Do you own a business or know someone who might donate any in-kind items to our auction? We are looking for fun items to include in our baskets that are presented in our lobby both before each show as well as at intermission. This could be anything from any kind of item to a gift certificate.
We also have a live auction than happens during the show, which is normally all of our big ticket items. We are also looking for any kind of staycation, if you know of anyone who might be willing to donate any amount of time at a vacation rental, we would love to put it in a bidding war.
The live auction has also included a years supply of pizza and one on one time with some of our most loved teachers at Pacific Arts Complex. Do you have any other fun ideas for our live auction? We would love to hear from you!

VOLUNTEER
Carrie's Dream could use a number of different types of volunteers. We are looking for help dropping off donation letters to local businesses that might be interested in donating in-kind items for our silent auction, collecting donations, as well as finding new sponsors. We are also looking for support the day of our annual showcase. This entails selling/scanning tickets, ushering people to their seats, working the silent auction.
